Position: Instrument & Electrical (I&E) Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Overview

Provide technical support for instrument and electrical systems in plant and field operations. Responsibilities include installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of control systems, PLCs/DCS, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, and maintain:
• SCADA systems, plant/pipeline/compressor instrumentation
• Pneumatic and intelligent instruments
• Electrical distribution systems, motor controls, and software
• PLCs or DCS systems, process/safety controls
• Test, calibrate, and document control/safety devices
• Interpret electrical/pneumatic drawings, P&IDs, manuals, and regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep schedules up to date
• Complete energy isolation and LOTO procedures
• Participate in on-call rotations and safety programs
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements

• Knowledge of NEC and OSHA 1910 electrical standards
• Associate’s degree in Instrumentation (preferred)
• 0–2 years of related experience (preferred)
