Nuclear Pharmacy is responsible for providing radiopharmaceuticals and other drugs to medical care providers under highly regulated State and Federal guidelines and may also consult with or advise physicians and nuclear medicine technologists on the safe and efficacious use of radioactive drugs for diagnosis and therapy. Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route. Duties include preparing doses for shipment, preparing cases, wiping doses, loading and unloading containers in keeping with prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The driver prepares and makes deliveries to customer accounts on assigned routes using a company vehicle (non-CDL), packages radiopharmaceutical medication for shipment, performs testing, loads/unloads containers, uses a handheld tablet to scan customer orders for accuracy, obtains route stop information and navigation, processes packages returned from customer locations, maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs, and performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver's license with a good driving record, and have prior delivery driving experience preferred. The role requires the ability to manage up to 75 pounds, drive in all weather conditions, sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods, strong customer service and communication skills, flexibility to work different days, schedules, hours including weekends, holidays, on call, and overtime as needed, comfort working in a nuclear environment, and ability to use computers and tablets. The position involves working under moderate supervision, adhering to quality guidelines, and applying acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks.
